The Department of Educational Psychology at The Faculty of Education at the East China Normal University invites applications for multiple open rank openings in the area of educational psychology.
We seek applicants with expertise on substantive areas on child development, emotion, motivation and volition, personality, learning sciences, and educational neuroscience to inform teaching and learning, especially in complex digital environment. We welcome candidates from a wide range of fields including child development, learning sciences, neurosciences and any related fields.
Proficiency or interest in a range of educational psychology, including (but not limited to) the following, is highly welcomed:
- social-emotion-motivation development,
- learning design in complex environment,
- educational neurosciences,
- positive school/counseling psychology (preferably for youth career planning, subject well-being, etc.).
The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to our graduate and particularly to our Ph.D. in Education program, which offers specializations in Learning; Human Development; Social-emotion-motivation; educational neurosciences and Educational research methods.
Required Qualifications:
- Earned doctorate in the required area or closely related fields;
- Evidence of significant contribution to or great potential of scholarship in these fields;
- Evidence of ability to work collaboratively with others;
- Expertise and experiences to teach core coursework in the aforementioned area.
