This presentation will describe the international and national contexts for Chinese academics and graduate students wishing to publish in top international journals. It will outline how to target the correct journal; what kinds of topics and research journals are looking for; how to structure and write good articles; common mistakes and reasons why articles are rejected; and helpful resources available for authors.
嘉宾简介:
Janette Ryan 博士，牛津大学中国研究中心协理及访问研究员，曾担任赫尔大学顾问及牛津大学-浙江大学中国教育国际中心协同主任。Janette Ryan 博士是Routledge、Palgrave Macmillan及香港大学出版社等国际出版机构的审稿人。她也是诸多国际期刊的审稿人，包括Higher Education Research and Development（高等教育研究与发展）、Asian Survey（亚洲观察）、Learning and Teaching in Higher Education（高等教育学与教）、Journal of Teacher Education（教师教育学报）、Critical Studies in Education（教育的批判研究）、International Journal of Educational Development（教育发展国际学报）等。此外，她还担任英国社会与人文研究委员会、挪威研究委员会、香港研究资助局的评审员。
