Editor's Note:
To deepen multifaceted collaboration with world-leading universities, innovate exchange models, and support the cultivation of outstanding talent in the field of Education, the Faculty of Education at East China Normal University(ECNU)continued to advance its International Academic Week program in 2025.
As a key part of this effort, the Faculty organized a series of International Academic Weeks with several globally renowned institutions, including Columbia University (USA), the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge (UK), Korea University (South Korea), the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria (Canada), Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (France), the University of Lisbon (Portugal), and the Universidad de Vic-Universidad Central de Catalunya (Spain). These initiatives are designed to– and successfully did –promote substantive academic exchange and collaboration throughout the year.
From November 4 to 8, 2025, a delegation of faculty and students from ECNU’s Faculty of Education visited Korea University in South Korea for a five-day international academic exchange program. Organized by the Faculty of Education and hosted by the Department of Educational Psychology, this academic week focused on the theme "Psychological Challenges of Adolescent Learners: Issues and Interventions".
The delegation, comprising of 14 members (4 faculty members, 8 graduate students, and 2 undergraduates), engaged in a variety of exchange and learning activities at Korea University, including graduate seminars, poster presentations, thematic lectures, campus tours, and concluding discussions.Through vibrant intellectual exchange and cultural immersion, participants gained valuable insights and returned with meaningful outcomes.
